Spreading CHD Awareness was created to help spread awareness about CHD (Congenital Heart Defects). My youngest daughter was born (2005) with four heart defects. We did not know that she had any heart defects until after she was born. We need to spread the awareness to moms and dads to be and also families out there that might not know about their child’s heart.

Every 1 in 100 babies is born with congentital heart defect. Congential Heart Defect is one of the most common birth defect and will effect about 40,000 new born babies each year and more then 4,000 will not even make it to their first birthday.
